I graduated with a Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine in 1994.

My passion for continuing education and ongoing learning has led to Membership of Australian College of Veterinary Scientists in 2007 and a Postgraduate Certificate in Science through Massey University, Palmerston North, in 2013.

My special interests include internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, dentistry and emergency medicine and surgery.

I treat every patient as my own and understand the deep bond we all have with our beloved pets.

Out of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, practicing and competing in target shooting, reading and movies.

Janet
Practice Manager

I have been working in the Veterinary industry for over 40 years, starting as a Veterinary Nurse and now as a Practice manager.

My passion has always been about animal welfare, high standards of clinical care and the special bond we have with our fur babies and their pet parents. I love the customer service aspect of my job and the daily running of a busy clinic and the challenges it brings. I also love the working relationship I have with my team members.

I have owned French Bulldogs for over 18 years and currently have one named Winnie. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my grandchildren, catching up with friends, walking/tramping, lawn bowls and going to the movies.

Depti
Head Veterinary Nurse

I graduated Unitec in 2014 with a Diploma in Veterinary Nursing. I have been with Pet Doctors since 2014 working in various clinics until finally I became a permanent member of the Botany team.

I am passionate about educating clients on pet care and have a special interest for nurse consults. My interests include reading and exploring new eateries with my friends. At home, my attention is taken up by my two pets, Limp Bizkit and Achilles.

Chloe
Veterinary Nurse

I graduated from Vet Nurse Plus in 2020 with a Diploma in Veterinary Nursing, then joined the awesome team at Pet Doctors Botany after doing my student placement here for a year.

I have a passion for animals and enjoy all aspects of veterinary nursing, especially the surgical department.
When I’m not working I’m most likely playing soccer, outdoors or annoying my two grey furry “tigers” Ash and Zeppy.

Kim
Veterinary Nurse

I graduated Vet Nurse Plus in 2013 with a Certificate in Veterinary Nursing. For the following 6 years, I worked as an After-Hours Emergency Veterinary Nurse before joining the Pet Doctors Botany family in July 2020.

My hobbies include Storm/Tornado Chasing in the USA every year, and most recently, Skydiving! You can call me an adrenaline junkie for sure!

I have always had a passion for animals and I am living the dream every day which is made easy by working with a fabulous team!

Anesha
Cattery Assistant

I am an upcoming Vet Nurse Plus graduate with a Certificate in Animal Care previously achieved in 2019 from the Southern Institute of Technology.

I spend my free time fostering rescue cats and neonatal kittens until they become healthy enough to find their forever homes. This has contributed to my chosen career choice as my passion is animal welfare and helping animals daily. I enjoy being a part of a team who share the same values and support our patients with a high level of care.
